My VM is still on 12.04 (see sig), so with 16.04 coming out soon I was
wondering if anyone was already playing with it?
I installed it in a VM yesterday. LMS 7.9 installed and run just fine.
That said there have been reports by both an Ubuntu 16.04 user and a
Debian Sid user (which is the base for Ubuntu 16.04) who had problems
getting it to run due to unknown reasons so far. It seems they at some
point had to compile some perl modules themselves to make it work.
Whether this was required because the previously had installed something
else, or the premature nature of the OS builds, I don't know.
Why don't you run the test yourself? You seem to be set up to run VMs.
Just another small one for your own tests.
