If yes. I have problems connecting with wifi. It's a rpi3. (Wifi worked
fine on Raspbian)...so it's not hardware.

As soon as I pull the ethernet cable out...it is over and out....I try
to connect to the indicated ip address but no joy.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:"Naruto"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point:
EC:55:F9:23:4B:8D
Bit Rate=21.5 Mb/s Tx-Power=1496 dBm
Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Encryption key:off
Power Management:off
Link Quality=29/70 Signal level=-81 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

Funny thing is that diagnostics etc...or connect/save works fine. I'm
just baffled by the Encryption key: off in the diagnostics...

Because further on I see this:

wlan0 Scan completed :
