Well Salty, me old dog.

Buy another SD card. Load Raspbian Jessie Lite, apt-get install
rpi-update and play about foryersel.

You can try Squeezelite on the Raspbian or Max2Play or maybe even one of
the other distros.

Then you'll know.

When it's any good it will make it to the main release (don't hold your
breath) :p.
