Hmmm .... the disk is only 2% used - 3.3 gb left. The error appears on every rescan - the termination occurs at any point in the sequence upto about 140 items. The same procedure on a debian LMS (same nightly version) completes without any problems. I occasionally use the lms transcode (it's not crucial).
