When pCP boots up from SD card, numerous directories including /opt/../fonts$ are created from the compressed file. Even the font is copied to ../fonts$ directly after boot up, that font file would be purged and disappared when pCP is turned off, and the original font comes back at next boot. The way I posted is: 1) Save the font file to the 'safe' directory that remains even pCP is tuned on or off. 2) Replace font at last step after all the directories, files and font are expanded from the compressed file.
