I've been running the ImageViewer plugin on an rpi2 w/ 7" screen and
wifi for the last 9 days with no issues. It's configured similiar to
yours using a local webserver for the images.
I thought it might have been a memory leak but jivelite has been
hovering around 36MB of memory for days now.
Code:
--------------------
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ uptime
06:56:44 up 9 days, 19:56, 3 users, load average: 0.00, 0.06, 0.11
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 947936 913988 33948 11600 10436 21756
-/+ buffers/cache: 881796 66140
Swap: 0 0 0
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ top | grep jivelite
26268 1186 root S *35744* 3.7 0 2.3 /opt/jivelite/bin/jivelite
--------------------
Are both players connected to the network using the same method
(wireless/wired)?
I can only suggest changing the logging level for applet.ImageViewer and
jivelite.applets to debug from within jivelite, then quit jivelite and
let it restart. Hopefully that'll help to shed some light on the issue.
Obviously, you'll need to have jivelite setup to write to a log file as
'I described before'

always appreciated.
