I have LMS on a Pi2 and a Pi3 both piCorePlayer with music on QNAP. Music is mostly FLAC (some 96/24) I have zero buffering so not sure why you would have such an issue. Actually 2 x QNAP one is a Ts109 so even Lower power than your 119. Something isn't right if you get buffering on a fully wired network.
