hello All, I recently replaced a tower pc with a BeagleBoneBlack, using a 3.5" inch USB drive as music library.
Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1470553729 @ Sun Aug 7 07:46:23 UTC 2016 Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: armv7l-linux Perl Version: 5.20.2 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int Audio::Scan: 0.95 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1) Total Players Recognized: 3 It works fine with radio streaming, but have what looks a rebuffering issue with my FLAC music library: it is impossible to use due to the frequent stops. Also, the web interface loads very slowly. No useful info in /var/log/squeezeboxserver. I checked CPU and MEM with top, but it's ok, so I wonder if the USB interface to the disk is the problem: sudo hdparm -tT /dev/sda /dev/sda: Timing cached reads: 332 MB in 2.00 seconds = 166.02 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 28 MB in 3.20 seconds = 8.74 MB/sec Does these figures look good enough for a SBS server, or are too slow?
