After rewriting the pcp image to SD I discovered that the presets had not changed. As opposed to what I thought, the presets are not stored on the clients but on the LMS server. On Windows 10, the location is
C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\prefs\server.prefs This file stores all kinds of setting per client, including the presets.
