Ok to solve this I had to edit the startup script . Even if LMS was last in init sequence tried the usual renamimg of rcx.d links SXXlogitechmediaserver ,the vm boots so fast ( 3 sec) that the cifs share is still not fully established .
So i introduced $remote_fs in the init script ? This is maybe not so elegant suppose it goes away with some upgrade ? snip/ ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: logitechmediaserver # Required-Start: $all $remote_fs # Required-Stop: $all # Should-Start: $all $remote_fs # Should-Stop: $all # Default-Start: 2 3 4 5 # Default-Stop: 0 1 6 # Short-Description: Startup script for the Logitech Media Server # Description: Logitech Media Server powers the Squeezebox, Transporter and SLIMP3 network music \ # players and is the best software to stream your music to any software MP3 \ # player.
