You misunderstand me Greg. It isn't usual to ever specify a broadcast
address. It is calculated from the gateway address and the subnet
netmask.

The resolv.conf question is far more important to me though as currently
DNS does not survive a reboot. I think I may have found the answer - I
need to declare etc/resolv.conf in bootlist.lst ?
