Guys, I am thinking of fitting a justboom amp (it seems more powerful than others so I expect speaker choice would be relaxed) to a Pi 3 running PiCorePlayer. I would need to be able to inject audio from another source to overlay short chime sounds to the music. So I plan to setup the alsa mixer to allow that.
Do you foresee a problem with that plan? In the end I would need to play music in sync from multiple identical machines (ethernet). Overall reliability and robustness is important. The nodes will not be serviced regularly.
