I'm still waiting for my IR receiver.
In the meantime I finished the buttons/encoder and hooked them up.
Made a funny observation:
The encoder worked to wrong way: clockwise decreased volume, CCW
increased.
So I figured I only need to swap the pin numbers in pikeyd.conf.
Wrong: swapping the pin numbers does nothing. I needed to swap the keys
