OK.

cat /proc/asound/card0/stream0

shows

Code:
--------------------

  Interface 1
  Altset 2
  Format: SPECIAL DSD_U32_BE
  Channels: 2
  Endpoint: 1 OUT (ASYNC)
  Rates: 44100, 48000, 88200, 96000, 176400, 192000, 352800, 384000, 705600,
768000
  Data packet interval: 125 us

--------------------

That doesn't look too bad. By looking that up beforehand I probably
avoid to be blown up by white noise at 0db. ;)

Then it obviously got to be

Code:
--------------------

  -D :u32be

--------------------

for squeezelite.

Do I then still have to have

Code:
--------------------

  Enable DSD-over-PCM

--------------------

enabled under DSDPlayer settings?

And would that mean that LMS sends .dsf as DOP down to squeezelite and
squeezelite converts it back to native DSD, formated as u32_be?
