Quick update, new Raspberry Pi 3B based piCorePlayer with IQaudIO DAC
(couldn't resist!) is working fine. Can power off and on at will and
reboots in about 10-15 seconds. A nice "set it and forget it" setup,
just how I wanted.

Only problem is what to do with a growing collection of redundant
Raspberry Pi boards of various vintages. Any suggestions gratefully
received!
