I just tested installing dnsmasq.tcz on 3 recent versions of pCP. All
loaded OK.
Here's the output when loaded on kerenel 4.14.56.

Your first error message looked like you were loading from the piCore
repository. The second from our pCP repository.
The issue is the version of kernel. The kernel on pCP is usually more
advanced than piCore. We have to do this to support the latest RPi's.
This means we unfortunately have too generate our own kernel dependent
extensions.
