and if that is an official RPi screen then my recollection is that they recommend connecting it that way (power to screen and then screen powers Pi). It is how mine is connected as well ... and I do get the lightning bolt as well but only during the startup phase.
If you still get it after changing around the cabling then you could look at slowing down the RPi through settings.
