Thanks for the suggestion Paul
I gave it a try, but still can't get the card to work. I'm a little confused about the list of cards that I see in the 'Audio Output Device Settings' top section, as it seems to change according to the previous selection. Sometimes I see a long list that includes some HiFiBerry and IQAudIO products, sometimes a short list that stops at the Allo products. But with the 'Audio Enthusiast' version of pCP I did occasionally see a couple of DACs that I don't remember seeing with the standard version. But they didn't work. I've found a 'github page' (https://github.com/respeaker/seeed-voicecard) for a respeaker/seeed-voicecard, which uses the same WM8960 codec, and it includes this statement: > > While the upstream wm8960 codec is not currently supported by current Pi > kernel builds, upstream wm8960 has some bugs, we had fixed it. we must > it build manually. So I guess there's work to do to get these cards working with pCP, and that work would be beyond me without step-by-step instruction I'm afraid. I'll probably just go for a JustBoom Amp HAT Zero for now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109891 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
