Its the version I got from 'here' (https://repo.picoreplayer.org/insitu/piCorePlayer4.1.0/piCorePlayer4.1.0.zip) Greg Erskine wrote: > > Can you redirect the output $ setup >/tmp/xxx and see if any messages > are generated in /tmp/xxx > So I tried that and got a nice "-Error opening terminal: xterm-256color-" But I think I understand why now. Its because I try to ssh via konsole in KDE. When I try to do this via a TTY, it runs smooth. It must be down to the settings of konsole or my .bashrc I suspect. Now managed to disable the WebGUI and change the default passwork. All these devices in my home should be a little more secure now. In a world of IoT, security needs to be a top priority for those developing great pieces of software like piCorePlayer, LMS, etc. You should ass a couple of lines in your "HOWTO" ;-) Thanks for your help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ squeezetux's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68286 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109873 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
