Hi Paul

Yes - makes sense.  For me, it'll be a USB drive.  My music is on a USB
drive attached to my LMS on the rpi.  The drive is set to spin down in
it's firmware after 10 mins of not being used.  If I reboot the rpi when
the drive is spun down, it doesn't always detect and mount the drive. 
If it doesn't mount automatically, mounting the drive manually always
works.  So, it might be slow LMS load is when it hasn't correctly
mounted the drive.
