No, my pw is alphanumeric only. I assume you're talking about the section titled "Add wpa_supplicant.conf to boot partition on PC", since the following section won't work without being able to connect. However, I was planning on ordering one of these today, an ethernet-to-USB Micro cable...will this work? https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Ethernet-Compatible-Raspberry-AX88772A/dp/B00RM3KXAU/ref=sr_1_3?crid=BBDUH6FT6PHJ&keywords=ethernet+to+usb+micro&qid=1556124924&s=gateway&sprefix=ethernet+to+usb+micro%2Caps%2C226&sr=8-3 I've read over the above section several times. I don't see any difference between this... -Used for Quick setup at boot. Can be later maintained in pCP web interface. Do not use special characters. # Maintained by piCorePlayer ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant ctrl_interface_group=staff # Two Character Country Code country="US" update_config=1 network={ ssid="yourssid" psk="password" key_mgmt=WPA-PSK auth_alg=OPEN }- And this... -User maintains by placing this on the boot disk to update. pCP will not modify in any way. Special Characters are allowed. # Maintained by user ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant ctrl_interface_group=staff # Two Character Country Code country="US" update_config=1 network={ ssid="Your SSID" psk="P@ssword" key_mgmt=WPA-PSK auth_alg=OPEN }- SSID and password are written differently, but I'd be putting my info in anyway. What am I missing? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ AirFiero's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69090 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106833 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
