On pCP by default we only enable ZRAM swap space (lz4 compressed swap in RAM), it gets the memory size from the kernel and allocates 25% for its use.
Traditional hard disk swap is not turned on by default, for the main reason of saving the SD card. We have heard of a few users running LMS that had memory issues and turning on swap solves these problems, but we still leave it off by default.
