What you'll want to do is to automount the partition on startup. Have a
look at 'this tutorial'
(https://www.linuxuprising.com/2018/12/how-to-auto-mount-partitions-on-startup.html).
(btw, browsing with the Mint file manager mounts devices (disks, usb
sticks, ...) as well, so generally there's no need to use the terminal)
