This manual deserves a prominent place. For me, it was a great help in
finding out how to calibrate my touchscreen.
I used a Waveshare 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen, which is different
from the example in the manual. To make it work, I left out the part
where you put
-"dtoverlay=ads7846,cs=1,penirq=25,penirq_pull=2,speed=50000,keep_vref_on=0,swapxy=0,pmax=255,xohms=150,xmin=200,xmax=3900,ymin=200,ymax=3900"
- in the config.txt file. 

Also, step 10 of the manual refers to line 707 in the pcp_startup.sh
file, where in my case, I found this on another line. 

I now have a perfecly working touchscreen.
