This manual deserves a prominent place. For me, it was a great help in finding out how to calibrate my touchscreen. I used a Waveshare 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen, which is different from the example in the manual. To make it work, I left out the part where you put -"dtoverlay=ads7846,cs=1,penirq=25,penirq_pull=2,speed=50000,keep_vref_on=0,swapxy=0,pmax=255,xohms=150,xmin=200,xmax=3900,ymin=200,ymax=3900" - in the config.txt file. Also, step 10 of the manual refers to line 707 in the pcp_startup.sh file, where in my case, I found this on another line. I now have a perfecly working touchscreen.
