FWIW, I just installed PiCorePlayer6b7 on an old RPi1 with an ADL GT40 DAC. Everything is working fine.
I was not actually intending to run the Beta but I finally decided to upgrade from v4 to v5 on this box. v5 refused to work with my DAC. In v5 I tried leaving the output setting to: sysdefault:CARD=DAC (this worked with v4, in v5 squezelite would not run with this option) HW:CARD=DAC HW:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 and even leaving it blank. None of these options would output sound. So I tried the beta to see if things would improve. I was able to get sound working with: HW:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 I have no idea why it works in V6 but not V5 but hey, I'm happy. Thank you to the developers for continuing to improve piCorePlayer!
