As you see three postings before I now have a Pi 4 4GB for use as a LMS server (piCorePlayer installation). Before it was a Pi 3B+ with PiCoreplayer and LMS together. I installed the Pi 4 from ground up and attached the old USB Stick with the LMS database and the M.2 SSD from the Pi 3B+ installation to the Pi 4.
Then I started a new Music-Scan (42038 files). This is running now for 1 and a half hour and is still at the second part where the music files are searched. It is really slow as hell. The 3B+ was really fast there. Can someone imagine why the Pi 4 is so slow here?
