There was also a Dutch translation to include, as well as other
'brightness' translations, so I thought it was easier on Ralphy for me
to consolidate them into one place.

I'm not sure if it's my place to say this, but I can add that Ralphy has
also bug-checked and implemented all the other changes to get this skin
fully working - thanks Ralphy! I've done a fresh install from pCP6-b9
and everything works as expected now, including the 'brightness when
off' setting.

Installing the pcp-jivelite_default-qvga240squareskin.tcz extension now
places a script file called lcd-brightness.sh in the /home/tc folder.
If you have a different display that uses a different method to adjust
the screen brightness (e.g. it uses a different GPIO pin, or a different
executable), then you can edit that script file and your edits will
survive a reboot. But if you delete it or rename it, the
pcp-jivelite_default-qvga240squareskin extension will reinstate the
default version suitable for the Pirate Audio boards at the next boot.
Ralphy's approach here works really well.

I think the Jivelite changes for this board are complete now. Hopefully
people will post any bugs or strange behaviour in this thread.
