I am coming round to that way of thinking as I just picked up an old RPI 1B+ off Ebay so may let that do the Pi-hole stuff. Pi-hole has had a positive impact on the family's browsing so I may persevere with it in some form or another. I do enjoy the tinkering though but have a collection of SD cards so can always return to the piCorePlayer installation at the end of the day. I'm definitely going to give the Desktop variant of Buster a try now though.....
