Ok this is what I'm doing. 1. I'm doing a fresh install of pCp 6.0b9 on a linux mint PC with Etcher. 2. At the end of the Etcher flashing, as the card is unmounted, I remove it and insert it again to mount the 2 partitions : pCpRoot and pCpBoot 3. I'm creating a new "wpa_supplicant.conf" introducing my SSID, my password and my country (in my case FR). I'm using the "maintained by user" file. I put this file directly at Boot 4. I save the file 5. I'm unmounting pCpRoot and pCpBoot 6. I'm putting the microSD card in the RPi 4 and I connect my router to my RPi 4 with an ethernet cable. 7. I'm applying the power 8. I'm looking at my router interface to see the IP address of pCp. It's on the network 9. Thanks to the IP address, I'm looking on the wifi settings tab. I put On the wifi and I save 10. I reboot still with the ethernet cable wired 11. I look at the wifi interface. It says the "wpa_supplicant.conf" is read but there isn't IP address or mac address related to the wifi 12. When I look at the wifi diagnostics, it says there is no wifi device and that either I have to use one or install wifi driver. 13. I try a reboot without the ethernet cable. It's the same, I can't see pCp on the network. I don't see significative differences with the described instructions. Having for sure much less experience than you, I may be miss something. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Zabizabo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110727 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
