The name shown is what the device is reporting to Alsa, it has
absolutely no relation to the brand name.  One of these is likely what
you need to set.

Make sure you have selected "USB Audio" in the drop down box at the top,
then press the card control button.  There are instructions on how to
check volume.  USB devices have a wide variety of mixer setups..... 
easily adjusted with a ssh session and alsamixer.   Then just be sure to
press the save button in the interface.
