No worries I manage, it was just a general question to help me better understand the concept. I've just managed to put together a "basic" Rpi/PcP with a 7" touch that I "play" with when time permits. So I was looking at different DACS and all the settings in PcP e.t.c. and one option I was considering was the DAC that the OP asked about. Which led to me questioning what eventual advantages/disadvantages it would be with an "official/unofficial" DAC.? So to make it easy for ourselves could we summarize like this?; If one would like a DAC hat for the PcP that works smooth "out of the box" one should look at that Github link that man in a van posted? But as a "sidenote" citing Paul, other DAC's "might" work as well.
