I found articles that stated that the D30 only works with DSD when the
volume is at 100% (something about over riding the D30's internal volume
control).  I validated that by turning Alsa to less than 100% and then
there was no sound at all.  Put Alsa back to 100% then DSD cranks even
with LMS' digital volume set to zero.

I guess DSD is not going to work the way I want it to with this receiver
(Fisher 400).  No big deal as I have very few DSD files which I only
downloaded to see if DSD on the D30 worked.  It seems like it does.
