Ok, after much time troubleshooting, I have isolated the issue to the
firewall (UFW) on the Ubuntu server.

The ports are configured to allow bidirectional 9000 and 9000 (V6) as
well as the same for 9090. The symptoms are as follows:

-- Firewall set and restarted, all players are seen and can be played
and synchronized.
-- Playing throughout the day, all works fine
-- Stop playing via whatever device (Squeezer Android, Squeezelite
Windows10, etc.) before heading to bed
-- Try playing in morning: Either only my Group shows as playable (with
no players in it) or the Group and one player is playable. The rest are
gone.

In my troubleshooting, I tried restarting Squeezlite on the players
(RaspPi nodes and Squeezelite-x), tried restarting Squeezelite on the
server, tried restarting LMS all to no avail. If I take down the
firewall on the server, the Squeeze Player nodes all become immediately
visible and playable. If I then bring back up the firewall, playback
stops for about 10-30 seconds and then restarts. All players remain
visible once the firewall goes back up.

Good one. Anybody have an idea on how to stabilize this? I definitely
don't want to leave my server's firewall down permanently.

Thanks!
