As garym notes above, LMS is not connected to either files or router via
wifi. 

I'll be happy to connect the rPi by ethernet when I can replace the
cable (it was a separate problem that when it was it was taking a
ridiculous amount of time to get onto the network on boot, which I
guessed meant the cable wasn't performing; I didn't bring that problem
up because it was simple to fix by switching to wifi temporarily).
