I ran through all of these instructions, and everything seemed to go
well, except the last step 'pcp rb' failed and I was no longer
connected. So following the recovery procedures, I found that I did not
damage the firmware and the Pi booted right up with PcP.

I did not get the Command Output (that I could see) that matched what
your OP had.

1.) So, is there an SSH command to check the Firmware Version?
2.) Where is my Command Output text?
