Let's assume LMS is properly running (as per Paul's recommendations for checking). If port 9000 is not open on your NAS then any request to access LMS from another machine will fail. OpenMediaVault has a FIrewall rules pages in the settings. I also wonder if there are other ports needed for LMS (for control purposes maybe?) but the information on the web seems very outdated... as a first, dirty test, I would disable Firewall altogether on your NAS.
