hard to say. My library is 113,590 tracks, mostly FLAC files. Scanning
is almost as fast on my rPi3B+ as on my win 10, 64 machine with 8 cores.


that said, I just bought 2 rPi4 and got the 4GB models. Not needed, but
why not. Relatively speaking, the most expensive rPi is still dirt
cheap. I spend way more than $75 per week on average on CDs.
