Hi all,

Apologies if this has been discussed already or if it belongs in the LMS
forum (I haven't found any discussions about it yet).

I've just built myself a piCorePlayer using an rPi4, 2GB and a Hifiberry
DAC+ to replace a Squeezebox Classic with ailing analog output.
What a great piece of kit! I plan to donate some money to the project,
I'm just glad the Squeezeserver/Squeezebox ecosystem will survive beyond
the aging hardware... (I still have two Booms that work perfectly except
for dim displays)

Now to my problem/question: The piCorePlayer's host name is
"piCorePlayer" by default and I'm fine with that.
In LMS, I tried to set the Player name in the Server settings to
"Squeezebox veranda" but it seems to be causing some issues and also
seems to default back to "piCorePlayer" if I reboot the rPi. When I go
in the pCP webpage, I do see the name that I have given the player in
LMS so I see there is some interaction concerning renaming the player.

Anybody else notice this? any solution? I will gladly go pester folks in
the LMS forum if you guys suspect it is not related to pCP. :)

Cheers,
Daniel
