Similar issue with the server running 6.1.0 on a pi4 set up as a AP. The "Controller", a pi 3B with a 7" screen, seems to lose contact with the server. Today I used my phone to connect to the server at the same time and it didn't lose contact. That confuses me because that indicates it's not the server AP.
In reality, the whole set up ran great until I updated the server to RPI 4. Seems to boot slower and cache images slower than the 3B+ that was in there before. Just observations. Not really a question in there. I may yank the RPI 4 and put a 3B+ back in.
