...and I love listening to music. That's why I use pCP in my house and my car. Of course I'd like the car server to boot faster than the home server and because I'm using one pCP set up with the 7" screen to control the server I need them to kind of boot in sync. Otherwise there can be issues.
Otherwise I am old fashioned, using 25 year old discrete component pre-amp and power amp. And a 27 year old Revox CD player. I love the old stuff. It just works. The nice thing about the pi is that you can tinker without risking many $$. So a little messing around is fun. Especially when you're retired and there's not much else to do these day without risking much more than a $40 piece of.... I kind of thought this little bit would be just like something that you guys would put on the bootcodes page. Ah well.
