I know nothing about Freefilesync, so I'm not criticizing it at all, I just want to point out that if you wish to have Windows control your backups, ROBOCOPY is built in. While the syntax is different, it performs pretty much the same functions as rsync. This is also the first I've heard of a non-free rsync client...it's actually built in to Linux.
