During the boot process, pCP will transmit a Wake-on-LAN (WoL) "Magic
Packet", that is used for restarting machines that have been soft-powered-down.
Wake-on-LAN (WoL):
- requires the destination computers MAC address
- requires the destination computer hardware supports Wake-on-LAN
- is not supported on Raspberry Pi hardware
- may not be supported on Wireless interfaces
- may not work outside of the local network
