The boot partition is FAT32 formatted so its visible on Windows PC. So
the root partition is slightly more secure to the casual user.

As Paul alluded to, whenever you use pCP's Wifi GUI interface it will
convert the password to a passphrase, no choice. It also adds the
country code at this stage if it is missing.
