I think there must have been a flaw in my logic when I upgraded to 7.0
from 6.1. I chose to burn a new SD card with the 64 bit version of 7.0.
I switched cards and reapplied my settings. I installed LMS 8.1.2 (I
had already upgraded to LMS 8.1.2 under Pcp 6.1). My LMS cache files
were all on an external USB drive together with my LMS library. I chose
the option to “Set LMS Data” to the cache on the external USB drive.

All seemed OK with LMS but it soon became obvious that many of the
plugins weren’t working, for example Qobuz did not appear in the Apps
menu, WMA files did not play with the Play Windows Media plugin (they
did before and I have reinstalled ffmpeg), photos were not scanned with
the upnp/DLNA server plugin. I tried to remove and then add back in the
Qobuz plugin but that had no effect and it had retained the settings it
had before I removed it.

I don’t know what to do now, is it a question of removing the LMS cache
and preferences and starting all over again? I’d prefer not to, as I
thought that my method would retain my settings but as I say there must
be a flaw in my logic!

I still have the original 6.1 SD, so I could try going back if that
would help in any way.
