Hi there.
Havn't been around for a while. Just figured that some people are nagging Paul about my CPU isolation recommendations. ;) As a matter of fact that CPU0 isolation feature is currently not working on the RPI4. I am running latest RPiOS64, latest eeprom firmware, latest 5.10 kernel (all git) . Which is quite a step ahead of pCP70. I got the same situation. However. The key tweak is to attach the alsa output thread to a single CPU. There's IMO no need to nail the main SL process and the other threads to a single CPU. That's IMO even counterproductive. cat /proc/interrupts shows where the IRQs are speeding up. I'll check with the RPi kernel folks what have changed. @ Paul since busybox top and ps are pretty useless, do you know a package that holds a full "ps" version.
