I am impressed with the work you guys have done. Whenever I played with udev over the years I never got it to work. I always assumed that the udev from mydata.tgz got restored after the the base udevs had been run.
chill it looks like you have got a complete solution here. I might have a look at adding it to the [Save] button on the Squeezelite setting page. I have been using a USB DAC for a few weeks, but I am powering it through the RPi so I just turn on or off the RPi PSU and everything works.
