Ah well ... I'm setting up a Pi for someone else and I know what the TV will be (for now at least) so I'll have a go at forcing things and maybe rerun Squeezelite once every X minutes (if not already running) during day time hours and tell them to wait a bit after they turn on the TV ... until I can find a better way.
