I've updated the script (in 'post #137' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113661-Start-restart-squeezelite-when-plug-in-USB-dac&p=1009335&viewfull=1#post1009335)) to check whether the DAC is connected, and stop with a warning if not. It'll even give a little beep! I've also added a check at the start to make sure that the 'install' and 'uninstall' options have been called with root privileges, i.e. 'sudo'. And I've even tried to make the commentary match up to the functionality.
