Just wanted to add my experience. I have a Synology DS218+ - installed Docker and have gone for the 8.2 branch of LMS. Initially, issues with getting LMS to see my music library stored on the Synology. I have found NFS permissions not required, indeed I don't have NFS switched on. What is required is Guest access to the Music folder and the Docker folder : 33633 Hope this helps!
