Just to be sure I'm not missing anything, I started over from scratch, with a fresh image on the SD card, and set up a wpa_supplicant file on that SD card from the beginning.
So, at no time was I ever connected to a wired connection. Squeezelite works fine. I have to specify my LMS server, which is on a different subnet than my players, but Squeezelite connects to LMS ok, and I can play music via the LMS controls, or iPeng. I've been running SB3s, Radios, and a Transporter with LMS on one subnet and the players on another for years without issue. I can install jivelite, but I'm never able to select a player. When it asks me to choose a language and a skin, I can do so, and then it scans for players and never finds anything. /home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/settings contains the correct MAC address, so I know that's correct. I'm puzzled. I have not yet tried all of this from scratch on a wired connection, nor have I tried it from a wireless connection on the same subnet as LMS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ benh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6732 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103330 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
